MAGNA CARTA DAY 2019!



Magna Carta Day 2019, was once again a very successful event.
The New Mayor of Runnymede, Councillor Parshotam Sohi
Formally opened the Magna Carta Day (as is customary),
and welcomed everyone to the event.
The Rt Hon Philip Hammond also attended the event and spoke to many of the stall holders and members of the public.
He appeared to be in a very relaxed and jovial mood.

Alan Bostock took a number of excellent photographs along with myself/wife

VINTAGE CAR SHOW!



The Egham Town Team are hosting a Vintage Car Show in Egham highstreet
on Saturday, 27th July 2019.
The first show that was held last year, and it was a complete success
so it has now become an annual event.
If you have a vintage car and would like to have it included in the show,
you can complete the application form below and email it to Mr Clive Walker.
All the information is provided on the form.

FRENCH MARKET!



The Egham Town Team are planning to hold a French Market in Egham highstreet.
The Market will be held on the Friday 15th & Saturday 16th of November 2019.
I will post more information about the times the French Market will be open nearer the time



COMMUNITY RECEPTION!



A Community Reception was held in the Egham Literary institute on Friday 22 March.
The plan for the evening was to promote the Visit Egham website,
and #hashtag, to a wider audience; including updates on Egham Town Team activities etc.

The reception was a success and will likely develop into an annual event.


EGHAM TOWN TEAM PANCAKE RACE!



On the 5th March 2019, there was an ETT Pancake Race
Unfortunately there were not as many teams as we had hoped for
but with earlier planning and advertising, it is hoped that more teams will compete next year.
So the ETT have put the event back on the calendar for next year.
